The Allegheny Collection Warranty by Covered Bridge Kitchen & Bath Group



PART ONE: Description of Warranty


Covered Bridge Kitchen & Bath Group warrants its Allegheny and
Timberland Franklin Collections by providing a five–year limited
warranty. This warranty is applicable to the original consumer purchaser
only and in such time when they own their own home. Should any
Allegheny or Timberland Franklin Collection products fail in the course
of normal use due to defects within the wood or craftsmanship during
this period, Covered Bridge will replace or repair the defective item at its
own discretion. This warranty is not transferable.


PART TWO: Intended Use of and Anticipated Variance in Product


This warranty does not cover products that have been misused,
mishandled, abused, improperly stored or installed, modified, or
subjected to excesses of moisture or extreme temperatures. The
product must be used exclusively for its intended purpose in order to
be covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover the expense
of installation, removal, consequent damage, or shipping of a defective
product, regardless of whether work was performed by a contractor,
a Covered Bridge service company, or yourself. Variance in color or
grain, or occurrences in the wood such as pinholes and knots, can be
anticipated in a natural wood product and are not covered by this
warranty. In addition, color may change due to influences such as
prolonged exposure to light, heat, or aging. Such environmental or
chemical components are not covered by this warranty.


PART THREE: Repair or Replacement of Product


Repair versus replacement of an Allegheny or Timberland Collection
item is dependent upon the availability of the item. If the claim is filed
after the specific product has been discontinued or cancelled, Covered
Bridge Kitchen & Bath Group will honor the warranty in one of the
following ways, at the company’s discretion:

* Repair or replacement of defective product with new product
of same style.
* Repair or replacement of defective product with product of equal
value and complimentary style to maintain appearance of original
cabinetry purchase.

Due to the aging process of natural wood products, Covered Bridge
Kitchen & Bath Group cannot guarantee an exact match between the
finish of the existing purchased product and its replacement.


PART FOUR: Rights of Consumer


This document serves as a description of your specific legal rights within
this transaction and is the exclusive warranty of Covered Bridge Kitchen
& Bath Group. No other warranties, expressed or implied,
are associated with this product. Exclusion or partial limitation
of incidental or consequential damages is not permissible in some
states. You may have other rights from state–to–state which are not
documented within this warranty.


PART FIVE: Submission of Claim


All claims must be submitted in writing. Please include a copy of the
dated sales receipt as proof of purchase. Please do not send the defective
item unless and until the item is expressly requested by our claims
department.
